Students are invited to use their initiative to solve a crime as they apply basic scientific techniques covered previously at key stage 3 and 4. The session also includes specialist topics such as blood spatter pattern analysis and angle of impact calculations to reconstruct the scene plus forensic entomology to calculate the time of death.
Seminars and presentations are also available for full year groups and we are happy to engage in question and answer discusions or plenary sessions.
“The student and staff feedback was excellent; we will be booking another session to launch the forensics element of the curriculum” Debbie Lumb, Shelley College, Specialist Science School, Huddersfield. Year 11, 6th form and Upper 6th Masterclasses
